Identification & Development of Scientific Experts
The Weinberg Group identifies and prepares experts and advocates who can adeptly convey science information to juries, policy makers, regulatory panels, politicians and the public. These third-party experts and spokespersons are selected because of their scientific expertise and effectiveness in educating and informing their audience. We provide the following services in this area:
- Maintain extensive network of relationships with well-known and respected experts in relevant fields (e.g., medicine, epidemiology, toxicology, chemistry, and former regulatory officials)
- Identify the most appropriate type(s) of experts needed for a particular litigation
- Act as a liaison between the client and experts, becoming a primary channel for concerns and requests
- Arrange and facilitate introductory meetings between counsel and possible experts
- Develop the witness by providing scientific literature and issue-specific analyses
